MMUST has done it again! The Principal Secretary, State Department for University Education and Research Amb. Simon Nabukwesi has appointed MMUST’s Prof. Egara Kabaji as Chairman of the the newly created ‘Think-Tank’ on University Education and Research. Kenyan Universities are reeling in financial distress and this has compelled the government to institute mitigation measures to enable the institutions thrive.
The renowned Professor of Literary Communication and former DVC- MMUST is the man who is going to shoulder the responsibility of nurturing Universities in Kenya back to financial growth and stability. His team has thirty (30) days to find a remedy that will bring Universities in Kenya back to optimum financial heath. Prof. Egara Kabaji is indeed the right person to steer this mammoth project for Kenya. He is shrewd, far sighted, quick, and an outstanding multi-skilled higher education manager with a tenacity to make things happen. This is a unique opportunity for MMUST to show-case its pool of expertise and for Prof. Kabaji to put his academic prowess, professional abilities and personal qualities to work.
