INVITATION TO THE INAUGURAL LAKE VICTORIA BASIN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION 2026!

You are hereby invited to the inaugural Lake Victoria Basin International Conference and Exhibition (LVBICE 2026), scheduled to take place from 5th to 9th October, 2026 at the Acacia Hotel-Kisumu County.

LVBICE 2026 is envisioned as a premier regional platform that will convene distinguished scholars, researchers, innovators, policymakers, development partners, industry leaders and institutions of higher learning to deliberate on transformative solutions towards sustainable development within the Lake Victoria Basin region. The Conference, themed ‘Harnessing Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development in the Lake Victoria Basin’, will particularly focus on climate resilience, Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart agriculture, innovation, sustainable infrastructure, and regional socio-economic transformation.

TRIMESTER SESSION AND SPECIAL/SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

Students on the trimester programme are hereby reminded that by now, they ought to have cleared at least 50% of their fees. In addition to this, the trimester and special/supplementary  examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Year are slated for 27th July to 7th August , 2026.

TAMASHA CULTURAL FESTIVALS 2024/2025

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is pleased to announce the Tamasha Cultural Festival, scheduled to take place from Thursday, 13th March to Sunday, 16th March 2025.

This annual event serves as a unifying platform, bringing together students, staff, as well as local and international communities to celebrate cultural diversity while promoting national and global cohesion.

The theme for this year’s festival is:
“Leveraging on Cultural Heritage in Preserving National Cohesion.”

The official opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, 13th March 2025, at the Graduation Square, starting at 9:00 A.M.

MMUSO 8TH PARLIAMENT AND STUDENT EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ELECTIONS

MMUST would like to inform you that following the dissolution of the 7th MMUSO Parliament, a notice is hereby given that the 8th Electoral College elections and the Student Executive Council elections shall be held on 6th March 2025 and 7th March 2025 respectively.
 
All interested persons are advised to collect nomination papers and clearance forms  from the office of the Dean of Students today, 10th February 2025 from 2pm.

1ST SCHEDULE OF CERTIFICATE COLLECTION FOR THE 21ST GRADUATION GRADUATES

The Registrar (Academic Affairs), Prof. Judah Ndiku, wishes to inform all 2024 graduates that the 1st Schedule for the issuance and collection of certificates is now available. This applies to:

  • Master’s and Graduate Diploma graduates (All Schools)
  • School of Medicine graduates
  • School of Education graduates

Graduates are advised to refer to this  attached schedule  for detailed information regarding the collection process.
