Dr. Edna Ooko

Dr. Ooko holds a Doctorate degree in Pharmaceutical Biology specializing in the molecular, structural and genomic basis for drug resistance in cancer, malaria and bacterial diseases.She currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences. Her areas of academic teaching and research are in Biochemistry and Plant Sciences in drug resistance in cancerous cells and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
