Mr. Robert Keli

Mr. Robert Keli is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics. He holds an MSc in Mathematical Statistics from Kenyatta University and is finalizing his PhD at the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa specializing in Biostatistics. His areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Mediation analysis, Categorical data analysis, Joint modeling, Missing data analysis, Bayesian analysis and Measurement error analysis.

His major scholarly contribution is his role in promoting mediation analysis under SEM where the mediators can be observed / latent or continuous / categorical in nature while appreciating the fact that missing data will always exist in real life. Robert also holds a certification in Monitoring & Evaluation. He currently serves as the Departmental attachment coordinator and the year two academic advisor.
