Ms. Roselyne Asiko Abwalaba

Ms. Roselyne Asiko Abwalaba is a Lecturer at the department of Reproductive Health, Midwifery and Child Health (Pediatric), School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedical Science at Masinde Muliro university of Science and Technology. She teaches and mentors nursing students on area of research and academics. Currently she is the attachment and clinical coordinator at the department.

Her areas of academic and research interests are in the fields’ pediatrics, adolescent, youth and reproductive health matters and she has collaborated with Stanford university in conducting HIV related researches, working as a Researcher with Cambridge university on antimicrobial resistance/stewardship and worked with Johnhopkins International University as a research assistant in conducting reproductive health research (family planning)

She is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology; she holds Master of Science in Advanced Nursing Practice (Pediatric Nursing) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (2018 and 2013 respectively), Diploma in Community Health Nursing at Kenya Medical Training College (2009) and Certificate in Community Health Nursing at Kenya Medical Training College (2000)
