        Dr. Michael Onyango Ojiema

 Dr. Michael Onyango Ojiema is a senior Lecturer of Mathematics. He holds a Doctorate degree in Pure Mathematics. He is generally interested in all areas of Pure Mathematics but his expertise areas are in Algebra & Geometry (Ring Theory, Group Theory, Graph Theory, Coding Theory and Differential Geometry). His publications span; Automorphism Groups of Algebraic structures and Graphs, Classifications of finite rings, Coding Theory and Riemannian Geometry of Almost Contact Manifolds. His major scholarly contributions were his roles in the construction of the power four radical zero completely primary finite rings which advanced the ring classification problem and in determining the existence of a fourth almost contact structure on a smooth Riemannian manifold.  He currently doubles up as the Coordinator of Budalangi Study Center and as the School’s Chairperson of the Postgraduate Studies Committee in the School of Natural Sciences.
