Gershom K. Mutua, PhD, MRSC

Dr. Gershom Mutua holds a doctorate degree in Chemistry from University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa specializing in Inorganic /Physical Chemistry. He has wealth of experience in Inorganic synthesis, chemical kinetics and computational modelling.  His areas of academic and research interest are in Kinetics, mechanistic and computational studies of transition metal complexes, anticancer metallodrug design. He is also involved in research on environmental remediation using locally available materials and nanotechnology.  Dr. Mutua currently serves as the Chairperson Departmental Graduate Studies Committee as well as the patron of MMUST Chemical Society. He is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
