Doctor Evans Silver Kwendo holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing from Maseno University. He also holds an MBA (Marketing Option) and B.COM (Marketing Option), both from the University of Nairobi. He has also studied a professional Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing, examined by The Chartered Institute of Marketing-U.K. His areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of customer service, social marketing, interactive marketing and customer segmentation. His major scholarly contribution was his donation of a text book, entitled, Introduction to Business Management-to Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology’s Library. He has a wide experience of corporate world and therefore an added for teaching because he can provide practical examples of his own experiences. Currently, Kwendo teaches marketing, management and supply chain management courses in the school of business and economics He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration and Management Sciences in the School of Business and Economics.
