Dr. Daniel Otanga

Dr. Daniel Otanga is a Lecturer and also the Dean, School of Computing and Information at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Kenya. He holds a PhD in Information Technology of Kibabii University . He has MSc in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Moi University .

Dr.Otanga has been involved in a number of research projects of ICTs for Development, Information and System Security, Curriculum development for Computer Science, Information Technology and Knowledge Management, E-learning systems among others . Dr Otanga has been involved in preparation of online learning modules currently being used in MMUST. Besides, he has published widely in journals and conference proceedings in Information technology and ICTs for development.

He is a professional member of the Computer Industry and Services Association of Kenya. Dr. Otanga has been involved in preparation of International multidisciplinary Conference in MMUST. He is a trustee for MMUST Pension scheme and current chair of the Scheme.
