Dr. Catherine Muhonja Aurah

Catherine is a science educator, holding a Doctor of Education in Science education, with a major in Biology Education and a Cognate in Natural Resource and Environmental Management. She also holds a Master of Science in Environmental Education and A Master of Arts in Educational Psychology. She has 20 years of experience as a teacher of Biology and Mathematics at High School, and 14 years at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, currently at senior lecturer level.  At the University, Catherine is the director of International relations and academic linkages. She has previously served as the chairperson, Department of mathematics and Science education. Some of the great achievements include developing (in collaboration with other colleagues) Bachelor of Technology Education whose first cohort graduated in December, 2020 and organising and actualising a successful first virtual international conference in STEM Education, at MMUST,
