Director, Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (PME), Prof. Joseph W. Nasongo explaining a point.

Giving an overview of the University’s performance, Prof. Joseph W. Nasongo, reported that MMUST has scored very well although there is still room for improvement. “MMUST has scored highly this year and has been improving over the years since 2017/18 to 2021/22,” he added. Echoing Prof. Nasongo, the Coordinator, Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, Mr. Henry Wati, explained the cascading process noting that each Cost Center Head will be responsible for their own targets. He revealed that in order to attain the excellence mark, all target holders must coordinate work within their cost centers while at the same time cooperating with other sections.

This signing of Performance Contracts by MMUST Cost Center Heads and managers is a clear manifestation that the University is not only compliant with the requirements of the law but is also implementing best practice in modern organizational management.
