Brief description

By virtue of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the parties confirm their intent to contribute in the following:

WECOFA OBLIGATIONS

1. Provide details with regards to land allocated to MMUST in; 140 acres for Main campus located in Kakamega town.
2. Provide details with regards to land allocated to MMUST in; 34 acres of land allocated for school of medicine at Kakamega Block 1/1 being part of the rehabilitation land.
3. Provide details with regards to land allocated to MMUST in Busia and Bungoma.

4. To work jointly with MMUST in protection and marketing of the university and protect it against negative publicity whenever it occurs.
5. To work jointly with MMUST in conducting community researches in areas of disease control, herbal medicine, cultural values, agriculture among others.

MMUST’S OBLIGATIONS

1. Recognition;
2. Research;
3. Protection and marketing;
4. Bursary and scholarships;
5. Social responsibilities;

March 2021-March 2026
