Light for the World Launches 3rd Employability Skills Training Programme at MMUST!!

We are delighted to inform you that Light for the World has kicked off its third Employability Skills Training Programme at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. The programme, set to last for a period of seven (7) weeks, will see over two hundred (200) MMUST students gain essential skills in readiness for the job market.

Today, 13th March, 2023, the third cohort of MMUST students underwent a ten (10) module curriculum on employability skills, which was facilitated by Riziki Source and M-Shule. It consisted of; CV Writing, Interviewing Skills, Workplace Etiquette, Networking, Management of Personal Finances, Leadership, Workplace Conflict, Time Management, Emotional Intelligence, as well as Stress Management.

It is worth noting that today’s event was organized in conjunction with MMUST’s Directorate of Career Services, headed by Dr. Teresa Okoth. The facilitators were; Ms. Racheal Njiru- Project Manager, Light for the World, Mr. Stanley Kaguora- Riziki Source, Mr. Harun Njogu- Riziki Source and Ms. Lydia Njuguna-M-Shule.
