The Directorate of Career Services was established in February 2018 as a Directorate in Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST).

The Directorate was established to set the framework for the support field courses and industrial attachment, school practice and other career support services to all students across all the schools/faculties. Internships and/or attachment to various industries, non-governmental organisations and governmental institutions offer valuable career experiences for students’ pre and on-job learning.

The experiences gained enable students to establish relationships with mentors and also accords them a chance to acquire new skills. The centre, which is in charge of career services will help facilitate these experiences and mentoring for students.
