The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) selected Dr. Fred Lisouza to participate in the TransformU University Network webinar led by the Pervoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) at the University of Bristol and the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), Nairobi, Kenya. The event is themed ‘Toward an Africa-led research agenda on GBV and ICPD25 in Kenya, South Africa, and Zambia’
The session will present an overview of the research undertaken to assess the status of pledged action for the ICPD25 on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in East and Southern Africa. It will also offer a space for discussion on the rationale, aims, approach, and key emerging findings of the rapid assessment leading toward the development of an Africa-led research agenda on GBV and ICPD25.
