The administration department is headed by Registrar Ms. R. C. Atamba under which the following sections fall: -

  • Maintenance

Other services offered include and are not limited to: -

Health Services

The Division ensures that students and staff health is catered for through provision of health services and coordinates referral cases to hospitals in the region. The University has a modest health facility with basic facilities and essential personnel.   Referral services are also offered.

Transport Services
The section deals with provision of transport services to both staff and students on official/academic duties. Transport pool has several vehicles. There are vehicles and drivers assigned to Senior Administrative staff members and others assigned as pool vehicles.

Security Services

The Division coordinates the provision of the security services through university security staff and outsourced security personnel.

Estates
The section manages University assets and maintains facilities to acceptable standards.

As a University, we strive hard to overcome many challenges in order to provide good learning environment to the students, not as we would but as we could under the ever-present resource constraints.  We have been able to put up two new hostels which accommodate JAB students and a modern Science Laboratory. Construction of a magnificent modern Library has been completed and is due for opening. The Library will support and nurture nascent but growing reading academic culture among the students, staff and the community. It is earmarked for stocking with current books and journals have and it has been designed to be ICT compliant in all respects. A modern science laboratory is in advanced stages of construction and will soon be completed for use by students.

Central Services
Central Services is charged with the responsibility of coordinating cleaning and messengerial services in offices. Officers in this section also ensure that lecture halls and rooms are cleaned and arranged on daily basis in readiness for lectures and meetings. It also ensures maintenance of grounds and facilities, and oversees the provision and maintenance and payment of bills for telephone facilities, electricity, water, waste water and coordination of student attachments.
