Students Browsing E-Journals

MMUST Library through the Kenya Library and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) in collaboration with International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP) has subscribed to a wide range of E-journals which can be accessed either as abstracts or full text articles. The mode of access is via Internet Protocol (IP) address meaning that only those bona fide users of the Library connected to MMUST’s LAN can access them free of charge and without need for passwords. One can use the following journal publisher links or alternatively use the accompanying subject index for specific journals.

• BMC Nursing - BMC Nursing is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in all aspects of nursing research, training, education, and practice. BMC Nursing (ISSN 1472-6955) is indexed/tracked/covered by PubMed, CAS, Scopus, EMBASE, Cinahl and Google Scholar. http://www.biomedcentral.com/bmcnurs/

• Google Scholar (beta) "Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research." CAVEAT: results include some links that take you to the publisher's web page, and then ask for a fee to provide the item. Make sure you fully exploit our databases first.
