The University will have a charged week with a number of activities taking place. On Monday, 30th January 2017, the University will receive officials from the Commission for University Education who are on a Quality Audit Inspection mission on University compliance to the Quality Standards as set out by the Commission. The scope of the Audit include vetting of integrity of examinations, academic programmes, student enrolment, certification process, academic and research leadership, dissertations, Theses and Research Projects among others. The Officials will also meet with students and academic staff.

In the same week, the University will also be involved in the negotiations and vetting of Performance Contract for State Corporations, Universities and University Colleges for the 2016/2017 Financial Year. The 13th Cycle of the Performance Contract will take place on Tuesday, 31st January 2017 in Kisumu. Among the documents that will be examined include, but not limited to, the University Procurement Plan, Strategic Plan, Annual Work Plans and Approved Budget.

The top University Management will lead the University in full participation in these two events to ensure that maximum success is achieved.
